A sixth daily London to New York flight

Exciting news from United Airlines

In December, United announced exciting plans to increase capacity to New York/Newark with a sixth daily non-stop flight starting 29 March 2020. Consistent with the existing five flights between London Heathrow and New York, the new sixth frequency will also be operated with United’s reconfigured Boeing 767-300ER aircraft, featuring all-aisle access Polaris business class and premium economy seating, United Premium Plus.

“Our New York hub provides our U.K. customers with more travel options, not only to the Big Apple, but also offers an extensive range of connections from Newark to almost 100 destinations across the U.S., Canada, the Caribbean, Mexico, Central America and South America.” Said Bob Schumacher, United’s Managing Director Sales U.K. and Ireland.

United Polaris business class is designed to bring a new level of quality to every aspect of premium cabin travel, from lounge to landing – and provide the best sleep in the sky.

The newly launched United Premium Plus seats are located closer to the front of the aircraft, directly behind United Polaris and receive many benefits and amenities such as complimentary checked bags, an upgraded dining experience and Saks Fifth Avenue bedding.
