TAP Air Portugal is in a process of completely renewing cabins of 48 aircraft as part of a wide fleet update program to be completed by the end of March 2018. The project is involving for the first time several Portuguese companies as development partners.
The new cabin interiors have comfort and improvement of customer service as top priorities. Displaying now two different types of new seats, of the most advanced ones in the market today, the new interiors' livery appeal to Portugal using the red and green colours, which are both the colours of TAP and of the Portuguese flag.
The seat covers were manufactured by a Portuguese company, the Karmann Ghia de Portugal, using Portuguese leathers with eco-friendly technologies, chromium and heavy metals free.
Customers travelling in Executive class and in Economy front seats will benefit from a wider pitch, in-seat power supply, cocktail table, tablet holder, as well four-position moveable headrests.
Always focusing on customer comfort as number one priority, TAP offers an equally modern and ergonomic option in Economy class with pre-reclined seats, thus differentiating its customer service from the competition in the European market.
