The new chatbot at Austrian Airlines, Lufthansa and SWISS can be a clever digital assistant for you and your colleagues. In the event of a cancelled flight or a missed connecting flight, you can independently select a suitable alternative flight and change your booking free of charge – using Facebook Messenger. This service is globally unique and is only provided by Lufthansa Group airlines.

 

All you need to start a dialogue with the digital assistant is the Facebook Messenger app. If this app is already available on your smartphone, just enter austrian.com/bot, lufthansa.com/bot or swiss.com/bot in your smartphone browser. You can even use Facebook Messenger without a Facebook profile using your own mobile number.

 

Please note: a chatbot is a text-based dialogue system. The user starts a dialogue with this digital assistant via their smartphone’s keyboard or voice recognition system. The chatbot recognizes the content and can give the user answers via its database.
