Currently you and your travelers can already reach over 50 destinations worldwide with Austrian Airlines. Now the remaining Austrian Airlines summer flight schedule will also be published. The timetable is valid until 24 October 2020 and includes the resumption of further routes and an increase in capacity on almost all existing routes.
Starting in August 2020, Austrian Airlines will be flying from Vienna to Shanghai again – initially once a week. The connections to Amsterdam, Brussels, Bucharest, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Copenhagen and Paris will be increased to up to three daily flights from September 2020. Additional European destinations complement the flightoffers: Chişinău, Dnipro, Iaşi, Klagenfurt, Leipzig, Lviv, Lyon, Nuremberg, Odessa and Yerevan.*
By the end of October 2020, Austria's home carrier will double its flight offer to almost 40 percent compared to the previous year's schedule – and thus offer more than 60 destinations.
Flight cancellations and rebooking options
Passengers affected by flight cancellations for the period of 25 July to 24 October 2020 may rebook. Alternatively, passengers who wish to change their routing can make a rebooking free of charge as part of the goodwill rules.
Reconfirmation for bookings affected by flight cancellations
Austrian Airlines asks all passengers whose bookings are affected by a flight cancellation to confirm that they wish to use the new and/or remaining flights as booked. For this purpose, affected passengers will either be contacted by their travel agent or receive an automated e-mail.
