United to launch 5th nonstop flight from Amsterdam

New service from Amsterdam to San Francisco starting March 31

United Airlines will introduce a new daily nonstop service between Amsterdam Schiphol Airport and its hub at San Francisco International Airport starting March 31, 2019 - subject to government approval. The flight will be operated with Boeing 787-9 aircraft offering 48 seats in United Polaris® business class, 88 in United Economy Plus® and 116 seats in United Economy®.


San Francisco International Airport is United’s premier gateway to the West Coast and the Pacific. Last year, United opened its new Polaris lounge in Terminal G.


United’s new route to San Francisco will be the airline’s fifth nonstop service from the Netherlands in addition to the existing year-round services from Amsterdam to New York/Newark, Chicago, Houston and Washington, D.C.
